Clam Rice

Littleneck clam Rice cooked in Donabe(Clay pot). Cook Clams first and remove from the shells, add to rice at the end of the cooking. Cook rice with clam juice, kombu (kelp) and Enoki mushrooms. $35 for four

Chirashi Sushi

Chirashi Sushi. You can eat Chirashi Sushi at a sushi restaurant but it is also casually cooked at home and there are regional special recipes and each Mom may have a special recipe to celebrate a season, a festival or any special occasions for a family member. The sushi rice is covered with shrimp, scallops, crab meat, tuna, salmon roe and cooked egg. $40


Let me start with sweet dessert soup for the New Year celebration. It is called “Zenzai” in Japan. Cook Azuki beans tender and plump with slow heat and combined with sweet soup which cooked Black beans. Served with toasted Mochi (Sweet Rice cake). Beans signify “healthy and fit” in Japanese and it is appropriate and an important dish for the New Year Celebration.
