Herb stuffed Zucchini flower. $12
Herbs, cheese and lightly crispy zucchini flower is easy to make. A good friend of mine hooked me with a very reasonably priced a bottle called “Petit Chablis by Roland Lavantureux” What a way to start a dinner!
Here is a recipe
6 Zucchini flower
8 oz Ricchota cheese
1/4 C Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
1/2 C Parsley – chopped
3 T Mint – chopped
1 T Scallion – chopped
1 T Tarragon – chopped
1 T Lemon Zest
1.Chop all the herbs and mix with cheeses.
2.Use Pastry Bag or cut a corner of a Ziploc Bag to squeeze the cheese mix to Zucchini flowers.
3.Lightly coat Zucchini flowers with potato starch or corn starch
4.Grill lightly with Garlic Olive Oil.
Squeeze lemon to serve or with marinara sauce if you’d prefer
